As my Chims going into the bodyshop tomorrow for 3-4 weeks I can now guarantee that on every trip I make I'll see bucketloads of TIVS (never see any normally when out), the weather will be perfect for roof down hooning with a V8 bassline and I'm going to be crying in the knowledge that all you lot will be out enjoying your cars and I can't..:weeping:

The only consolation is I'm getting a brand new SLK as a courtesy car for the duration my cars being repaired.. so at least I'll still be able to enjoy the sun.
So if you see a Merc SLK driver waving like mad as he passes your TVR give us a few revs in return..:driving:

Feel really gutted for you. While I don't think anyone here would blame you for being angry at getting a ladyboys car as a loaner, may I suggest a firm but fair approach. Speak to the owner of the garage and ask whether he'd be happy to be seen driving an slk. That should do the trick.

Fingers crossed you get a result.

It's a little early to be thinking of legal action but perhaps a pre-emptive strike to the clerk of the court to get the necessary papers in readiness would be advisable.
