exhaust mod hosting wav files?

Hi folks,

So, I eventually plunged for the straight thrus from Austech.

I took a recording of the exhaust before and will do after [and after a few weeks too once its been coked in a bit]. I also took some dodgy quality phone photos of the process. [Maybe a useful FAQ?]

If someone could host them, I'd be happy to post the photos and stick the wav files in the post.

It sounds f'in fab, BTW. Do it.

sounds like it was missfiring when you started it back up after the exhaust mod?

sounds loud on the file and i bet it sounds good under load and chance of a sound file on the move??

The pops and bangs keep getting better. I fitted a modified system a while ago and it moves the car into a new sound league, the greatest benefit however is to those following behind. Several calls of "that sounds f*****g wonderful" when in trafic jams confirms the expense as being well worthwhile

thank you folks - I'll do the second [post] recording on monday and send then through luca - I'll do a follow up in a month or so and if I get it decatted, I'll record that too.

I live in a village where you can hear a sparrow fart at 0630 when I get up to go out racing on sunday mornings...

I do hope they understand.

If you cliked the link a few posts up then it will not work as it has a full stop on the end, yours works correctly.

the microphone is the same distance from the car and all conditions are the same bar the exhaust.

Yep - got that - I remember it well! - they do sound a bit like tractors in the low revs, and a much harsher note than my SBC (which is pretty quite until on it then C5/6R!) - will get vid on early next week.

Some pop and bang on the over run some don't (need chip to be slightly over fueling to get the unburn't fuel to explode on the hot exhaust on the overrun. My first did it and second didn't - both simialry Loud though - Backfires were great though.
