Dunno - sorry vin. I did this after retrieving some cd's from the stacker just before going on holiday. So I just got my spare set and unlocked the boot. Easy!

There is a way into the boot without the keys, but I am afraid that this isn't the place to post it. Contact your dealer who will know who you are and that you have a Chimaera and they will help you out.

Sorry to be obtuse but there are far too many tea leaves out there to be too trusting.

Maybe I'm being stupid but isn't there a button on the dash which opens the boot! (ALA Griff!)

Doesn't your handbook have the info in it? Or are you doubly unlucky and that is in the boot too?

Fairly sure that my '98 500 handbook told you how to do it.

Sorry if this is rubbing salt into the wound but can't really help more.

Can't you lock the doors with the button (if it's in the same place as mine) by setting up some sort of contraption to press the button once the door is closed, like a tennis ball / mouse trap scenario? Let me know if I am being helpful.
