New Owner - Thank goodness for the forums

Picked it up on Friday chimp 450 , now have this insane grin stuck to my chops. Unlike the owner of the BMW 645 who had to look at me in his rear view mirror mile after mile after mile....muhahahaha
Thank god for the forums - chimp was running rather rough and missing a bit at lower revs - read the forums, tightened, pushed pulled and fiddled with everything recommended and hey presto, she runs sweet as a nut. And now I know that the button that turns off the dashboard lights is SUPPOSED to do that.
And what can I say, even without comparing to another chimp I just know in my soul that blue ones are faster.....

Welcome on board BigDodds - word of caution tho - don't go overtaking too many of those green ones - they're v sensitive about that sort of thing you know

Fantastic choice of car and colour I must say!. If your car is Imperial Blue, it could concievably be my cars long lost and slightly older brother (I have a 1999 Imperial Blue Chim 400 with 500 wheels, as per yours, see my profile)
My Chim is away at the health farm at the moment having a full service and a few other niggles checked out, but I'm missing it like mad. Every time the sun comes out and my garage is still empty, I start rocking back and forth in my chair like some poor disturbed individual
TVR's despite their little quirks and foibles, definitely get under your skin! as you will find out. Never before, have I had a car that looked so good, sounded so good and commanded so much attention from the public
To conclude, all the TVR models are great, all of the colours are great (and very fast) but after a little "scientific evaluation" I do personally think that the Blue ones are just that little bit faster and louder
