Hi folks,
Just been for 4 wheel alignment. Took 2.5hrs even though I'd freed and lubricated everything and they only did the front. Lack of experience with TVRs and some daft things like they didn't have a big enough spanner!
Anyhow the garage had a database by "Hunters" that said the front tracking should be 20 minutes toe out but Steve Heaths book says 20 minutes toe in so I asked them to set it to that. But on their summary printout, they have set each wheel to be 20 minutes toe in, i.e 40 minutes toe in total, whereas I thought it meant the total track to be 20 minutes toe in, i.e 10 minutes toe in each side.

Which is right please?

Sounds like a good place to avoid.

By the time you factor in your time and inconvenience to get a useless job done you could buy these and do it yourself. Add some string and learn about string boxes to do all 4 wheels.
