Funny noise

This is my first posting, although have had my chim for 3 years. Just got it back from Austec (chassis repair) and engine making funny noise, not there before. When I come off the gas, there is a faint ticking/clicking coming from the engine. It's not valves, sounds vaguely like sparking. Anyone got any ideas before I think about going back to Austec?

I'm sure you have but make sure all plug leads are on securely.

Possibly a crack in a manifold then, hope not though

Yep, sounds like cracked Manifold(s) to me also.
Mine had this problem when I first bought it, but it was sorted out by Fernhurst.
My recolection is that the cost was about £300, but can't recall if that was per side or both together.
