Morning All

I need a new Window Regulator Motor for the offside of my car, but usual suppliers seem to be out of stock - and are supplied from Italy so I am guessing they are not coming any time soon.

I don't suppose anyone knows alternative supplies or an uprated version etc?

A scrap yard up north might have one but it won’t be cheap.
That’s all I can think of.

Yeah was using that as a last resort - as I looked at the other known breaker and it’s dearer than new so for that money would make sense to get a new part - will have a look up there! Cheers Alun

You get back to that pretty Chassis! Looks awesome !!!

I read somewhere that the motor is also common to a London taxi.

Not sure whether the motor is handed or not.

According to the Chimaera Pages the part no. is Bosch FPE12V0130821069

Correct from a taxi, but they go on opposite doors. I changed mine on my last Chimaera for one from a Taxi breakers, from a TX1. Bosch part no 0130821070 (last 2 digits are 69 for the one needed for the Chimaera passenger door)

The passenger front door from the taxi is the one is the one you need to fit the driver's side of a Chimaera. They are used in Ferrari Mondial too but the dancing donkey tax puts up to ridiculous prices!

£15 here:

Many breakers use generic photos or just flip it over to show it is the other side. Ensure you get the correct one, it'll be stamped on the body of the motor.

Great advise - thanks guys. One Taxi motor ordered! Well worth a punt for that money!
