I good endorsement Dave, however as an ex-Lotus Elan Sprint owner, I cant believe he didn't mention them next, when he was stood in front of one saying that the Caterham may be a bit too hardcore for some people!

Yes, he purchased a nice Griff 500, see his YouTube episodes. Said it was the best looking of all the TVRs. The only thing he complained about was the flex in the chassis. Is the sagaris any stiffer? That handles really well apparently.

How on earth did he blow up the engine?

Perhaps on a track - caused by oil surge in the sump pan.

Documented elsewhere on here but states some Journo thrashed it around track, engine made noises, carried on driving, drove home, mag paid for repairs.

I notice the Griff lot haven't said anything about Harrys' preference for the 4 litre or 4.5 (4.6 really) engine variants smile
