Damper Compatability

Guys
If you look in the adds i'm after a front (94 4.0) shock/damper as mine has decided to start leaking and is sitting lower on the front nr Side.
2 people have contacted me, 1 with a 2001 Tuscan front shock and another with a 4.5 Cerbera front shock. Are either of these suitable for the job?
If not does anyone know what the original shocker is off and what I can replace it with brand new? Costs?

Sitting lower is nothing to do with the damper fault. Maybe you have a broken/sagging spring, or some other problem.

Worn dampers should be replaced in pairs or as a full set. They all wear out at a similar rate, and if one is badly worn they all will be. Running one spangly new damper and one well worn damper is not going to do the handling any good.

I haven't put the Cerbera/Tuscan shocks side by side with the Chim shocks but I believe they are not compatable because the Cerb/Tusc are virtually the same and have a longer neck on the top bush.

When I did this a couple of years ago, AVO ajustables were cheaper than the originals, and, er, ajustable!
