They aren't all the same, but Sierra 2.0 estate (front) and Sierra P5 (rear) seem to be common. The same discs may be fitted to other Fords though. Your safest bet is to sake the old discs in to ensure you get an exact match.

I've also got a 94 and got the car back having new brakes yesterday. The front disks on mine are 240mm ones, same as fitted to the Fiesta RS Turbo I am told, pads were Ferrodo race (better than EBC Green Stuff I am told). Some cars have 260mm disks tho.

I will shortly have a pair of Black Diamond fast road 'predator' pads available for the front 240mm discs (part no. PP206). I was supplied the wrong ones (I've got 260mm) and fitted them unknowingly. Have now received the correct size FoC from B/Diamond I'm just waiting for my car to come back from the bodyshop before I can swap them over (will be about another week or so).
The pads have only done about 300 miles so are still as new and providing the postage is paid (£5) their free to a good Chim.

Be carefull, most 'race' pads are far too hard for road use. The right temperature rating is normally marketed as 'Fast Road' spec.

Agreed - I've driven cars with race pads on the road; they just won't get up to temperature. From a cold start or after long periods running cool (eg. on a clear motorway in cold/wet weather), you can find that you have virtually no braking at all! Even in normal road use, they'll be running cool and so not as effective as a road/fast road pad.

recently changed all my discs for drilled ones and the hoses for stainless, using these with road spec mintex pads and the performance now they have bedded in is excellent. And i have got the standard 240 / 250 mm setup.

Agreed- I know it's maybe stating the obvious, but you have to ensure you get 4 stud discs. Some of the Sierra/ Grenada ones are/were 5 stud.
