I need to replace 2 of the terminals in the ECU plug. I've ordered some replacement terminal pins, but cannot remove the old ones from the plug.

Tied a few different pin removal tools but non seem to work. Is there a trick to this or some special tool?

There is a locking tang top of the connector, if you take the crimp over on the cable as the bottom. It needs depressing and by the look of it you have to go in from the ECU plug front with something like a jewelers screwdriver through the small square hole above the connector whilst pulling on the wire at the rear.

Find an old wiper blade and remove the strong steel from it, grind the steel down to fit the terminal release aperture

Bend locking tab to straight position and away you go, never fails, the terminal locking tabs often require a good bit of force to straighten them
