Is there any adjustment in the folding part of the rear screen / hood?

My original roof top fits in nicely and tight. However got a split roof, which fits into the screen well, but when the rear folds up, it doesn't push it into place as well as my original.

Any advice or experience with this?

Will post some o pictures later.

Put some packing between the rear bulkhead and the strut hinge , This will close
the gap between the top and screen.

Each original roof was made to fit each indivodual car.

Therefore your split roof will need to have similar dimensions to your full size roof.

I am guessing its a few mm shorter front to back which is why its a loose fit.

I think it will need building up with fibreglass and the recovering.

If it’s not to much to ask do you have any pics with say just the drivers side section removed. I loved my split roof on my S. Brill in winter and for faster drives home on warm evenings : thumbup:

Well made some spacers, 4mm thick and seems to done job:

Only issue is my door windows clash with roof, can the height of the door glass be adjusted?

Yes. Inside the door on the outside of the glass is a slotted screw adjuster. (About midway along the door and an inch or 2 below the door top).

It acts as a stop nut, screw it in to get the glass to stop lower down. Its quite a challenge to get a screw driver on it as the rubber prevents you getting eyeball on it. I use a 6 inch square of roofing lead folded over as a means of holding the rubber out of the way

Well got one side easy and is all good:

However driver side doesn’t seem to move, can these seize up? What’s best way to work them loose, soak in WD40??

Yep they get water exposure and corrode.

WD40 isnt the best try "plus gas" much more effective.

FWIW the WD = WATER DISPLACEMENT. Its brilliant for that but less effective as a penetrating fluid.
