Radio Aerial ?

LOL - Well I posted a question THEN did a search , found the answer so removed the question. Summary : Had chim for 2 weeks - while sat in a traffic jam engine off discovered this thing called a 'radio' but it doesnt work too well - but apparently TADTS !

Modwise do a kit which improves things massively....

Stuff the radio, spend the money on converting to a sports exhaust, then you won't me able to hear it even if you get good reception

Got a great Stereo in mine, but, with a Super Sports Exhaust and De Catted Mans. the only time I can hear the little fecker is with the engine turned off !!!

If your radio doesn't work then something has broken/become disconnected!
There is an aerial bonded into the car somewhere which requires a power source from the back of the radio. Pull your radio out to see if a cable has become disconnected. Mine has a cable running alongside the aerial lead which is connected to the sterio via a lead labeled amp power.
Be careful taking the radio out - you don't want to damage the dash.
