Wassis?

I was under my car today touching up bits of rust, and noticed a rubber pipe hanging down slightly, just next to one of the square tubes for the chassis. It runs parallel to the chassis rails. Its quite a long pipe, perhaps a tie has come off as its secured elsewhere with ties.

Any idea what it is?

The battery breather is smaller in diameter and usually pokes out from the nearside inner arch behind the wheel.
I'm assuming Parrot of Doom is looking at the point between the square chassis rails and the GRP.

OTOMH there are 3 fuel pipes along the chassis, supply & return, as well as the vent. supply is along passenger side up around transmission tunnel to rear of heads, return is similar but dow the drivers side. The vent pipe runs from under the fuel filler cap down the passenger side rail, crossing the front of the car under/behind the rad to the carbon filter behind the RHS headlamp (also a pipe from there to the plenum for purging).

Its on the passenger side, next to one of the square rails.

I reckon a tie has fallen off.

Bit surprised to see a fuel pipe so readily 'visible' by stuff passing under the car though.....
