New Chim Owner! + Inevitable question

Hello everybody!
Actually, i've had the car for a few weeks but have been busy driving in the sunshine!
Pistonheads was particularly helpful when I was searching for my car - seems to be one of the most comprehensive forums going, with lots of useful advice - all much appreciated!
After looking around at a few examples, I finally fell for a "Birkdale" Green 450. Some faff involving the new computerised taxing system ensued, meaning I had to wait a few more torturous days for the car. But it was worth it!
Several thousand miles later, the grin is still there, and the car has performed flawlessly.(it's Ok, i'm sitting on a wooden chair). Some initial hot-start problems raised an eyebrow, but seemed to cure themselves after putting some miles on the clock.
Now, for the inevitable newbie question!......
The last two services were 14/10/03 at 14,670 miles, and before it was sold to me, on 31/3/05 at 15,310 miles. (It seems the previous owner was a bit of a recluse!). My question is....when is the next service due? Should I just add 6000 miles, i.e. 21,310? It's just clicked over 18k, and I dare say it won't be long before it hits 20k if the weather continues!

To be quite frank I reckon if you take care of it, and you're doing a relatively high mileage, you can push it slightly past 6k, although not too much - you may be able to get it closer to 23k, and the service after that at 30k, to get it back 'on-schedule'
Possibly, but I'm not sure (especially given level of investment?) that I would want to risk it...

Find out what was done at the last service.
Did it include diff and gearbox oil changes?
If not, get this done after a further 6K or six months, whichever soonest.Do the brake fluid too. At the very least change the oil and filter.

I agree change brake fluid and oil + oil filter.
