Track day Snetterton 21st September

A couple of us are booked on to this track day at Snetterton on the 21st September, it's run by Javelin and it would be good to get a few more TVRs to join us.
So far we have my Chimaera and Steve's V8s.

Normally I would jump at this, but I am only 100 miles into running in the rebuilt engine, following breaking the last one this time last year......at Snetterton.
Not the fault of the track, I hasten to add.

If I have any money left at the end of this month, i'll book. Dropping car off at Mat Smiths tomorrow for a few jobs, including service and MOT. Road tax and insurance also due.

Hi Anthony, glad to you are back in action and hopefully catch up on a track day in the near future.

Collecting car from Mat's in two weeks time. Done just less than 500 miles in past year!
Work, overtime, illness, Covid, excuses, excuses. Must try harder.

I've been searching on the Club site and here for the day at Snetterton on 21st September.

I have a vague memory of seeing a page with prices to club members. (Can't recall if it was on here or the Club forums)

Can anyone direct me to said page?

Hi Nick,
This is a standard track day run by Javelin, it's open pit lane so you can have as much or as little track time as you like. The cost is £179 for the day.
The TVR Car Club track day was cancelled due to the dreaded lurgy.

OK, I'm going to book. My daughter is coming as well and possibly a mate of mine.

The Brekland Lodge in Attlebrough, which is a mile further up the road, is now reopen for business after the fire. Not sure about Covid measures though.

Collected my chim from Mat Smiths Monday, all good. Dashed up to Snet today to have it noise tested, they wouldn't let me in. Rang MSV hq and they got me clearance to get in just for the testing, Covid restrictions etc. 107db @ 4500 revs, 98.5 db with baffles, happy days. Jumped on Javelin website to book, sold out! Boo hoo......

Phone them and see if they can squeeze you in, or alternatively put you on a reserve list.
