Finally got her

She is finally here. I have the keys on my desk and wanting for 5.30 for the drive home. Shiny blue with cream trim 96 400.

I am just up the road from the seven stars in Petersfield, (I noticed that was a stop off point for a one of the drive days), so will be on the lookout for the next one.

PS - yes I know.... it is by my left knee!!! :shoot:

That button has nothing to do with a/c... I have one but to a/c other than the roof. Its the button to turn the dash lights off...

Oh well??? All I know is I don't have a/c or the button?? (I thought it controlled the air recirculation, but dont have it so not really fussed!)............... too confusing must be the heat!

There's a button by the left knee on some Chims that turns teh dash lights off, and a fan controller by the right knee on some that controls an unheated air blast (doesn't have to be a/c)

I have both on mine cos I'm special!

Well get you!!!!!!!!! Obviously I am not special enough....Oh well!! I think there seems to be so much variance on Chims in terms of what is fitted where??? Was not this complicated when I had the Cerby?

Where's the button for the boot release on yours then? Mine is by my right knee.
It might produce a blast of fresh air but only due to the vaccum created as the content of my boot exits at X mph

I found out about this button in the most embarrassing way - I took it back to get fixed and "Did you try the button by your left knee?"

First thing's first... I was straight round to Carl Baker's last night for Car & music chat. The man is a legend as I'm sure you all know.

As all new owners I have a list of things to do, which given time will be past by not wanting to be without her for too long.

Anyway, hope to see some of you at the 7 stars!
