just washed pride and joy '99 griff put lovingly back in garage to find alarm won't set. doors lock but indicators keep flashing about once a second. tried various combinations of doors open etc no change. book suggests if flashing 4 times in 6 seconds then interior sensor. but no alarm sounding. anyone had similar problem or know were the interior sensor is?!

Don't know why but reason alarm wouldn't set was garage flourescent light shining through open roof. Found this out after bout three hours of messing. Doh!

After my light conversion after a rain storm my inner wing filled with water and the alarm went bonkers. In the nearside wing is the siren connector, it is best not submerged!! I now have a drain hole. NCP said if it went off again it was something like a £12k fine, yes £12k.

I had that problem - I had forgotten to shut the passenger door.

If the door & pressure pad (bottom of door) does not
press the curtersy light swithch in - then the doors
will not lock.

Is the interior light off ?

I solved another alarm problem by disconnecting
the battery lead for about 1 min. This allows the
alarm to completely reset it self.

When you re-connect the battery it will set the alarm off - so be ready with the key fob.

Hope the above helps.

£12,000 fine for a car alarm that goes off accidentally? That's got to be stupid!

I get this as well. If the roof is off and you flick the garage lights on, the alarm goes off. Never not been able to set the alarm though.
