I just bought some of those aluminium buttons to replace the light buttons on the dash only to find I can't get the damn things off! Anyone know an easy way to remove the black buttons on Chim 93K?

if they are the Leven ones you don't remove the old ones just stick the new ones over them.

Our dash buttons come with instructions on how to remove the black plastic caps. This needs to be done before the alloy buttons are stuck on. It is easy but there is a technique, If anyone would like to know how to do it then please contact us.

Our aluminium and brass ones also go on after the original black plastic button covers are pulled off. We have occasionally found stuborn ones need a small hole drilled in them that allows them to be hooked and pulled off - no risk to the dash this way.

Is it possible to get aluminium caps to cover the door locks on early Chimaeras?

I have the Leven one’s on my Griff, the instructions were easy to follow. You do remove the plastic covers the first one takes time trying not to damage the dash, but once you learnt how to do it the rest are a piece of cake.
