Stuck bonnet (again!).

I have had the same problem a couple of times. I ended up going to a dealer to get it sorted.

There is an emergency way but it takes some effort and many ruin your bonnet

The garage said it was a piece of p*ss once you know what to look for, and yes you do open it from underneath. on a hoist one leg etc..

Anyhow found the cable is totally jammed in its sheath, out of the car you cannot even pull it 1mm , so new cable time. (more flipping money).

Looking back through the forums it is a 'Landrover Series 1' cable. that needs to be shortened.

also the bonnet does not seem to sit true on its mounts.

still its raining so cannot use it anyway.
