Fuel hoses again, maybe fake hose?

I have some Gates Barricade hose marked as 4219BF but when I cut it and looked for the different layers I only see the white cord-type reinforcing but no other visible layers. Is this ok or am I looking at a fake hose?

I don't think the layers are quite that obvious. Will have a look at our stock in the morning.

Had the same, expected to cut on the angle and see the green bit, but you can't

As said it is there but is very thin so you only see it as a fine line with no chance of identifying it as green.
It should have SAE 30R14T2 etc in white lettering on one side and all the other Gates info in green on the other side.

Thanks for your help Steve, mine has the correct markings but no sign of the green even using a magnifying glass. I will just keep an eye on it, I only used it on the return at the fuel tank so maybe ok. Mike, I'm glad I'm not the only one not seeing the layers.
