After the canary failed to sing and disgraced itself on the way back from Le Mans, the car arrived at my local Garage last night, They had a look at it this morning re-charged the battery still wouldnt start, checked the usual, Fuel pump relay, coil, dizzy, alternator (which had just been replaced) and it turns out it was the Coil after all.
Slotted a new one in and it started 1st time...
its now growling at the mechanics in the corner of the workshop begging for a good thrashing !!
They are adding some of those nasty bonnett clips to it, but the sunken ones to stop the bonnet lifting and exposing the engine for all to see at 1.5 leptons...

No worries mate... Its having a few extra bits done as well, i'm having all the fuel lines insulated at the front of the car as a precaution as well, they are tighter than a tight thing and just begining to perish, they cannot be sure that it wasnt fuel starvation as well, also replacing all of the leads and plug shrouds, just in case
