Hi mate and welcome back.
Sadly only second hand and getting hard to find.

They are so effective at keeping water out the cab it would be worth getting a Leven cover off someone and making one. It also saves the roof premature wear so really quite a valuable tool.

Easier said than done, looking at mine the seams appear to be sort of 'welded' not just sewn, to made them 100% waterproof.

No doubt someone somewhere has the technology to do it but probably not your average trim shop?

I’ve not looked at mine closely other than to admire the quality of the work involved.
Having had a few motorbike jackets over the years those sewn edges sure do let in the cold and wet so that makes sense.

Someone who makes bike seat covers might have an angle on it but yeah anything involving keeping water at bay will be a thought out bit of kit just like the Leven Covers. They did some real good stuff looking back frown

As I couldn't find any Leven ones I used this,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/UK-Custom-Covers-RP100-Ta...

It doesn't fit well to be honest but it's much better than faffing with a full cover everyday and does keep the rain out. It's supposed to be held down by the magnets which doesn't work on our cars, any gust and it's arse over tit so I stuck a few magnets inside the rear arches which have worked a treat unless there is a proper gale outside.

I got the Custom Covers RP121 version for an MX5 and it doesn't fit too badly. I shut the edge of the rear flap under the boot lid and then fold it back over itself so that any water runs off.

Its not as good as a Leven cover by a large margin, but much better than nothing. Having bought one I would pay the extra though and get a Stormforce full cover unless you plan to use the car regularly

I found that a half cover for a 986 Boxster was a close enough fit for a Chimaera. Unless you buy tailored, you'll only get an approximate fit anyway.
