I think Robertjp is compiling data for some form of what TVR database. A couple of topics back he was asking about Chim v.s Tamora and then posted the same quaestion on the Tamora forum !.
Still while I'm here can anyone tell me how Strawberry ice-cream compares to Chocolate ice-cream ?

Exactly right, did a side by side run on, well, a private runway a while ago and the 5.0 is with it till the cerbie gets up the rev range, 5.0 chim will pull a bit back when the cerb changes gear but the cerbie will always win until the driver runs out of balls

Faster but needs to be thrashed to the edge of its life to get the grunt. Most Rover owners don't realise this and come back with the it isn't much faster or not as quick as my Chim/Griff etc.
Superior brakes and handling. No make that far superior brakes and handling.
Downside is 2 to 3 times running costs as everything is more expensive.

After having owned a 450LW Cerby and loved it, I would say that the Cerby would win hands down, unless there was a real numpty at the wheel! Have seen a few believe me!!
BUT, as I now have a Chim which I also think is fantastic who cares?
They are both TVR, they are both great fun to drive/own and they will both 'see off' most cars on the road today......'Nuff said!

Hey! That's a real chuckle.
Cerb would beat 500 if you could be arse to chase the revs in Cerb - but like someone said at the speeds where it is getting nuts on the road not a huge amount in it - but when you decide to REALLY get going CERB every time.
