Hi there
I would just like to say thank you for the help and advice a few weeks back when i was looking for my first TVR.
I am pleased to say i have now clocked up my first 500 miles and am loving it.
The car is a Chimaera 4.0 1997(p) in starmist green paint with a magnolia and green interior trim.
The car has had 2 owners a Lady who had it from new and a chopper pilot in the army who i purchased it from. Both had looked after it well and apart from a few chips to the paint and no cd player i couldnt be happier.
Like the advice i was given i went for the face lifted model and am so glad i did, its all the little details that add up and the serp engine in great!
My only outlay so far (apart from loads of optimax!) has been the Steve Heath "Bible" so heres to happy summer motoring.

Cheers for the warning, its in great condition but im not afraid to get her wet. I (try) to play football 2 evenings a week and this week its been pelting it down but i thought it would be a good test for it. It performed faultlessly and like you said you just need to give the right and middle pedels respect.
