Aw nuts, broke my door

I got a bit previous today and pressed the door plunger before it was unlocked properly. It now wont open from the outside. Ive done a search and now realise i should be more patient when trying to get in (wife says the same thing) but no-one seems to explain how to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated, its a 95 car with big plunger buttons at the rear of the doors BTW

I did the same recently. Cycling the alarm/immob did the job.

My wife did this with the passenger door...i found that neither door would then release,although mine is the later type with the door release button under the mirror.I found that by closing the door back up fully everything returned to normal.

Have you tried unlocking the door by using the key with the door shut?
I have had the same problem and it seems to reset the system.

Ive tried cycling the locks a few times with no joy, mine is the type with no keyhole so thats not an option either, looks like i'll have to go 'dukes of hazard' for a while as the weather is too good to be faffing with a lock. thanks for your advice, if anyone else has some other plan i'd be happy to hear it.

ok crisis over, access through velcro/carpet behind seat, the plunger conects to the lock via a control rod with a looped end, this had become misplaced ( kind of spun round) and would not push down on the lock, quick reposition and hey presto or even hey presso.
