So after having my lower (radio) dash re-veneered, it's time to put it all together. I didn't realise though that the existing 'clips' for the warning lights had to be removed.

Cleaned them all up, and secured one side back into place, and it seems like it's around a 'mm' off, as the buttons for the lights, don't quite line up for the holes. Then whilst trying to slide them back into place, the small 'clip', then came off. Obviously I need to use stronger adhesive next time.

But is there a tip for locating and sticking these correctly. It's too late to get them welded, as this will ruin my nice new veneer, and I don't really want to change them all to the 'kit car, single push/LED' versions.

Any help to get these stuck.
In the correct place (i.e 'mm' perfect).
And then to slide the warning lights in place, without them coming off again...!!??

Well done TVR, you used a fantastic system here...

When I vinyl wrapped my last Chimaera lower dash, it was a matter of using 2 part epoxy mix and gluing in place the brackets on the back at just about the right height for it to be a tight fit to slide the buttons in with the slot catches.

A bit of trial and error did it, but there may be a more elegant solution ? frown
