Alarm pi$$ing me off

Just as I start to advertise my Chim to sell the alarm starts playing up.
Both key fobs (batteries fairly new) won't activate it.
I can still start via the electronic key on the column but the alarm warning light on the dash will keep flashing(flashs all the time).It obviously won't activate the central locking either.
Mention the word "meta" to my auto sparky and they look at me sideways.
Any bright ideas?

Ps: Its been like this since the battery went flat over time,now fully charged.

Have you tried reseting it? ie. disconect the battery, leave it off for around a mimute, reconnect it and press the remote button 3 times.
This worked on mine.

The phone call could be a little expensive as well, so you could try e-mail. He may take a couple of days but he does reply.

I thought about disconnecting the battery so will do today.
If I have no luck i'll give Carl a call.
