Cooling fans won’t stop, otter switch?

Decided to dig the car out after I mothballed it nearly 2 years ago. full-service mot everything running nicely, but now the cooling fans won’t stop. If I disconnect the otter switch it stops so I’m thinking that’s gone wrong. Am I thinking right?

Yes its permantly closed, had one do that before, had several fail so got fed up and ditched the otter switch altogether for a variable set up, faultless for the last 8 years or so.

It would seem that the otter switch has failed in the on position. So yes.
