Accelerator sticks on Chimaera 400

When started ticks over at approx 1200 rpm.
As I drive throttle sticks at circa 3000 rpm.
What do I check & what can I adjust

I think you need to expand a bit on what happens

Could well be the cable fraying. Normally near the pedal.

You first need to confirm that the throttle itself is staying open rather than this being a stepper motor issue.

Problem now solved. Pedal was binding on its pivot shaft. Striped it all, cleaned, lubricated & adjusted with correct end float. All seems to work ok now. Thanks for all help.
