Old Pioneer manual

Does anybody know how to search manually for radio stations on one of the original CD systems? No manual came with the car. It will search and find BBC channels but not local channels ....

Unless you've got some 'regional' or 'reg' feature enabled, you probably need to buy an aerial amplifier.

look on the pioneer site, type in the model number of your stereo and download the manual. They hold all of the old manuals.

Here's what is says in my manual (P5200RDS) for manual tuning..

1. Hold down the 'band' button for more than 2 seconds so that 'MANU' lights.
2. Each press of the [>] or [<] buttons increases and decreases the frequency. Keep the button pressed in to speed the process up.
