Anyone tried a non META replacement siren ?

Has anyone tried replacing the META alarm siren with a different make ?

One that is cheaper, easier to find and maybe more reliable ?

I haven't but I'll be doing a search for a replacement soon, so will be interested to hear if it's an option.

I looked into this prior to having mine replaced. Most the normal sirens out there are two wire so will not work, the meta one needs a signal from the alarm as well as the pos/neg connections. Carl supplied me with a replacement in the end, they are about 90 quid if I remember correctly.
