1998 Chimaera 450 - speed and mileage on the dash stopped working with the garage advising that the elements have got to the sensor and it's completely mashed. I'm in Canada without easy access to a TVR garage so was wondering if the part is standard and I can order from somewhere. There is no sensor to be able to decipher any part number. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've seen this and it looks right.

If that sensor looks like your one then it is correct.
May sound a strange response but there is only one sensor that looks like that. Sensors for other models and years look completely different.

I can’t even tell you what the old one looks like. It was gone

There are some in the classifieds here normally cheaper but you will need to use your existing connector.
Has a better range too.

Yeah can recommend the ones from here, way better than the originals and easy to swap the plug.

Here’s one for you,
Can you get a replacement block connector these plug into.
I dropped my body on and crushed it. doh!

I think I can repair it but would like a new one if possible?

Just replace both halves and have done with it. Ebay superseal connector.

Yes seems the way to go as the originals seem unobtainable.
