Nice car!

If you’re planning on doing the fettling and spannering yourself, I’d recommend getting hold of a copy of Steve Heath’s book on The TVR Griffith and Chimaera, plus a Haynes Landrover (RV8) manual.

They’ll be full of useful info.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply’s,I’ve got a copy of the Steve Heath book,I’m ok doing the basics but engine rebuilds and the like are beyond me,im thinking of going for 16” wheels all round,I had a bit of a mission getting decent tyres for it,I went for rainsport 5 in the end, they seem to be doing ok after about 2000 miles, but I think there’s a lot better choice with 16” or bigger,so I’m going to try and get hold of a couple of 16” imolas as I quite like the original wheels.

The Facebook groups are very active and well worth joining, parts come up for sale quite often.

Your not the first person unimpressed with RS5.
I wonder if they are a step down from the RS3

Yep,the rain sports are just ok,I wouldn’t rush out to get another set,the rs3 was a cracking tyre but the 5s aren’t the best, the sidewalls seem very soft to me,I don’t do track days so for the road they are ok till I get hold of a couple of 16” wheels for the front,
