Fuel Pump & Oil Pressure Switch

Broke down last weekend when the fuel pump stopped working. It has always seemed noisy and sounded like it was always switching on and off.
I switched over the 2 electronic relays at the roadside(I think one is fuel pump and the other is ECU) and it burst into life

Unfortunately before I could get home it stopped again and I could not get it going again....good old company car tow vehicle

Anyway to cut a long story short I traced the fault today to the connectors on the fuel pump. The black connector was not on the spade terminal....it had just been resting against it !!!

Anyway all is now well and the pump keeps running and is much quieter

Whilst under the car I decided to check the wiring to the oil pressure switch because my green oil warning light has never worked. The oil pressure sender is fine and drives the oil pressure guage ok.

Anyway I could not find the pressure switch - can someone please tell me where it is located - I expected to find it near the oil pump/filter but all I found was a bolt in a fitting on the engine just behind the filter

Any ideas please

Well done sorting the fuel pump. Oil pressure sender and low oil pressure switch are close together on the oil filter head.

I found the sender ok - it is a circular "tank" about 1.5" diameter with the spade connector on the bottom
