It’s been many years since I’ve ventured in here.

I’d wager the wipers are likely to be either a Ford, a GM or a Rover item. I can’t remember how easy the wiper motor is to get to on the Chims / Griffs, but maybe that might provide you with a clue ?

When I had my Chimera I also had a comprehensive copy of a parts number catalogue which listed every part on the Chimeras and Griffiths, and where alternatives of those parts could be found, (eg: the clutch slave cylinder being either Triumph or Hillman, I can’t remember which one now).

Maybe some Googling for the parts list might also get you the answer. Even if it doesn’t, it’s a valuable resource to have for times like this.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help. I’d have a look in my own copy of the parts catalogue, but we’ve moved house several times since I sold my Chim and I’d be dammed if I can remember where it is now.

This is interesting, knew most of it already, thanks. It lists every component for the task of cleaning the screen except the bit I want (wiper arm) guess they are not mean`t to break, well pushing 30 years anything can fail.

Hang on, is there not a part number stamped into the wipers?

No problem. If it comes with the washer pipes like mine water goes everywhere except on the windscreen. Had to send them back and the replacements were no better, looked like they put a hot nail into the pipe the holes were so big, even managed to push it through the other side of the pipe so don’t Chuck your pipes away yet! Absolutely rubbish but the arms are good though!

Only the arms for the later Chimaera seem to come with the water pipe (motor under the dash, NOT under the bonnet).

The arms on each side are also different although Racetech seem to have used the same photo for both M0312 and M0032.

I spotted that, mines a 93 430 so no pipes for me, bought extra off them though.
Arrived today,, in a jiffy bag rolleyes, not impressed, fortunately no damage. Racing Green always seem to over-package their stuff.

If you're not in a hurry, they're cheaper from China. I've ordered these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373561431548

There's perhaps TOO many sellers and some of them may be even cheaper, but some have photos of more than 1 type and I wanted to be sure I was getting the right ones.

Some 4mm black rubber tubing and it'll be neater. smile
