Renovo and Water seal

Morning all
I bought some Renovo the other day and some water seal. I plan to treat the hood over the weekend and was wondering whats best to do first?
I was thinking Thompsons first leave to dry (a day or so) Renovo again leave to dry then Thompsons again?

Will water sealing after using Renovo cause any problems?

I'd wash the roof down, then use the Renovo colour restorer. Give it at least 24 hours then apply the Thompsons. If you put the Thompsons on first then the Renovo will bead off and not "stick".

Anyone got any suggestions if you have a hood in a colour other than blue/black/brown?

I just checked out the Renovo site and it looks good, but they only do blue/black/brown restorer.

My hood is Mulberry (Bergundy/red) and could do with a freshen up.......guess that's what you get for being a bit different ;o)

Any ideas of an alternative?

Well just treated it and definately looks a bit smarter but is quite streaky. I have a feeling thats more to do with my brushmanship than anything else.

How many coats did you give it? I gave mine 3 when I last did it (well on the S3).

only gave it one, just sealed it again so try and get amother coat on this week.
