Good afternoon
I am just preparing my Chimaera 4.5 lt, year 2000 (phared headlights) for sale. The immobiliser has just been rewired as well as some other elements, by a TVR wiring specialist.

The fuel hoses need replacing, as I want to ensure everything is safe upon sale. Can anyone please advise whether I need R6, R7 or R9?

Also I need to replace the wiper blades, any advice on who can deliver to France where I live, would be welcome. I know I may have to pay import duty now frown but not many places seem to deliver to mainland Europe now

Thanks in advance

R9 and don't get braided hoses as the metal concentrates the heat and hides future failure from view. Also don't buy from eBay as there are too many sellers stamping R9 on cheap,non-ethylene hoses. If you are doing the front flexi fuel hoses, you should also do the rear

Check with them about shipping.

Use the correct hose clamps too.
You will need a short length of 12 mm ID for the tank to pump if your going to do it.

What benefit does R14 have over R9?
