A new day a new electrical oddity, the wonders of TVRs. As I drive the central locking locks and unlocks on an almost rhythmic basis. The light on the door unlocking knob even comes on and goes off. I assume a relay somewhere is having a fit..... any ideas where it is and what to do with it ?

First check that the door strikers are being fully pushed in when the door is shut. (There should be a plastic/rubber pad on the door that does this)
If you set the interior light to come on when the door is open, does this light come on at the same time?

Hi Craig & Dulu - YEP this is a door striker issue - had it on mine - turns your car into a mobile disco if you have the internal light set to come on along with that lovely ambient 'jugga-jugga-jugga' noise from the locking. Surprisingly LOUD ain't it? Passenger side striker worse on mine but not hard to adjust - cheers Tant

ps miserable rain in Newcastle - how's it in Edin, Craig? Getting out tivving much or is it scooby time?

Weather is dry & chilly at the mo, but Scottish Water have only just filled in a monster hole in front of the house, so the car has been blocked in since Sunday . That was the least of my worries though, as we were without water & heating for a couple of days

brrrrrr. LOL. Should be a law against it. A person and their Tiv have certain unassailable rights.
