Spark plug thread insert moving I think

Am I correct in thinking that the 5.0 v8 has thread inserts for the spark plugs ? If so I think one of mine is winding down with the plug, and to make it even more of a pain it’s on number 8 right at the back
It doesn’t seem to be getting any tighter but the plug is sitting lower if that makes sense.
If this is the case has anyone got experience of this type of issue, and perhaps a magic fix, or is it a worst case of having the head removed to sort it
Or am I completely barking up the wrong tree and it’s something completely different?
I’ve tried to upload a picture that hopefully shows the issue
