I think i have just found the worst maintenance task on the car. I thought taking off exhaust manifolds was a bugger, but i'm now replacing the fuel filter!!!!
I have the car on the stands with the exhaust off, and have the filter out of the clamp, but just can't find a way of threading it through the well waxed chassis and past the diff. Every small movement ends in a shower of dust, peddles, and drips of petrol, but the think just won't come out.
Is this a body-off task? because thats must be the easier way to do it?:smash:
