Assuming one can get hold of both the switches themselves and the control units and ribbon cables, is it feasible to fit the later switchgear to an earlier car (also assuming dash panels are changed)?
Would it be naive to assume that in the earlier cars, the various wiring emerges behind the three switches next to the radio and that in the later cars, it emerges under the dash and connects to the control boxes?
