Haven’t traced it but disappears down in the rough direction of the fuel lines. Pretty sure my other 2 Chims didn’t have it. scratchchin

No idea but it needs tracing out and investigating what it does.

I would say, wire fitted by a complete amateur, seriously needs tracing and reworking

Definitely a bespoke piece of wiring that rings no bells with me and agree with other replies that it needs tracing to know if functional and if so what for.....is it single or dual core(?). If your're lucky you may be able to see where it terminates in the the pedal box area in the drivers foot well.....where it enters the grommet with the throttle cable. There's not much obvious down there.....an additional feed off the brake pedal light switch or does it feed up to the ignition switch....?

Flamer kit. You've bought a car from a 90's chav and there's a sparkplug somewhere after the center box hehe

Awesome, this is exactly the news I wanted rofl

Will do a little tracing and report back. But not while it's 30deg outside!

Only the previous owner will know, get or borrow a snake camera, remove the clutch fluid reservoir cover and feed the camera in to see where the wire goes

Or just look under the dash and see if the cable comes in by the throttle cable

If the wire goes to the starter motor it’s something to do with the alarm not working properly
