iPod charging

Mate of mine is picking up an iPod for me in the States, and he's asking if I want the in-car charger with it. Any probs hooking it up to the cigar lighter, given its position in the door of the Chim?

I have a Dension in-car kit for my i-Pod (not in the TVR though), I would highly recommend it as it is similar to a phone handsfree kit cradle that keeps the thing fully charged, and connects to your headunit via the Aux input. Also keeps the i-Pod nice and secure when you are driving.
