GASKET SETS

Good morning all,can anybody tell me if a 500 chimaera uses a standard rover v8 top end gasket set as I may have a blown head gasket and my mate has a rover v8 top end kit going begging, thanks

Providing they are for the 3.9/4.6 bore and not the 3.5 bore and composite valley and rubber rocker cover gaskets then yes, personally I would not fit anything other than OEM Elring or V8D head gaskets quality wise not Ebay or cheapo stpart Britpart, Bearmach or some other crap , just to add make sure you identify a blown HG because if you dont far more sinister issues may be at play here like cracked block behind a cylinder sleeve/liner offending cylinder and may or may not have a liner thats receeded , offending cylinder may or may not have a clean piston crown due to HG or a liner/sleeve issue , keep an open mind and good luck
