Does the Chimaera 400 use the same oil filter as a Disco 1?

I'm in the US, so TVR parts don't exist here. I also don't have access to any of the European oil filter brands. But if I go to an auto parts store and get a Fram oil filter for a V8 Disco 1, will that work?

Genuine Land Rover filter is part number ERR 3340, your parts store should be able to cross reference that?


Royal Purple filters are very good, and available over there, part number 20-253

Fairly sure you can get hold of Mann Filters in the US.

If so you need - Mann Oil Filter W 930/20

Just checked actually and appears to be available on US amazon if that helps.
