Windows still operate even when car is fully off and locked
Discussion
To set a bit of context:
I've been vaguely looking into the battery drain causes on my Chim, and am currently just compensating with a trickle/maintainer. No big problem, just means there's an extra little task to do at either end of a drive. I also have a very long extension cable in case I manage to ditch the kids with a willing host and take the wife away for a weekend. Time will tell.
One of the things I also did was disconnect the microwave sensor inside the car, to see if it exorcises the occasional ghost setting off alarm. The system seems happy, immobiliser works as intended, alarm goes off if the doors are opened after the automatic self arming.
What I did for the first time though was catch my finger on the window switch, and the window started to operate. Ignition key in my pocket, everything switched off. Nothing else switches on, fans, lights etc, just the windows.
Anyone else experience this?
Could this be a fault, or is it just a quirk of the car?

It's a TVR 'thing.' It's the same on my Griffith. I find it handy sometimes actually, to open the passenger door and drop a window without having to put the keys in.
There is a relay in the system so although the switches are 'live,' there should be no power drain.
However
2 days after I bought my Griff, the battery was totally flat, because the rarely used passenger window switch had stuck down.
Another thing I check now.

However

Unplug the interior light timer/relay (yellow top right) and see if that cures the battery drain. very common fault. new parts are like hens teeth.Steve

The lights operate without the delay. Only a bit of wire needed!
