Bye Bye All.

Well after 6 months of fun I have said goodbye to my Chimaera :cry:
We have had our ups and downs, you have eaten my bank balance and I LOVED every minute of it!!!
But needs be and all that, so what have I purchased instead? Well I have gone to that small backwater German brand,

Yup I picked up today a 1996 'N' BMW 750iL all 5.3L and V12 of it! and dare I admit it its fantastic car it has every toy you could imagine from softclose boot to heated steering wheel and full doubleglazing.

But I will not forget my roots and if you see a BMW waving (NOT doing the coffee advert) it will be me and perhaps I could try and get a wave back from a fellow BMW driver :rofl:

and lastly I wish to thank everyone on the TVR thread for all their help in the past.:thumbup:
You never know the calling of TVR may bite again in the future..........

Fancy a Jag XJ or a 7-series BMW to replace it as a more sensible motorway muncher

Don't do it . Why do the miles in something else when you can do them in a Chim and smile all the way? You'll only do them once, carpe diem etc.

Seeing as the values of 7 series and Jag XJs have fallen so far you could keep both and have the perfect combo..

TVR for the fun stuff and sofa on wheels for the rest, works for me!

Yeh - I've got a chim and a vauxhall signum (i know, i know but i bought one year old and it was a bargain!)...drive the hearse (as my mates call it) most of the time and really appreciate the chim when i get in it!
