Helphit a very large bump in the road and lost oil pressure

Oil pressure switch is miles away from the ground, it's possible that the impact knocked a wire loose but doesn't seem likely to me.
I suggest you start by checking the oil level. If the level is OK you can heave a sigh of relief and just check for sensor problems. It's very easy to knock the drain plug hard enough to unwind it (it's the lowest point of the whole engine), or you may have damaged the sump itself. Either of these would cause an oil leak, but it might not be obvious unless you were watching the road behind you at the time.

If you have oil in the sump and the oil pressure sender / gauge is proven to be working, then I suppose the oil pick up pipe could have become detached somehow and fallen into the sump. The pump would lose its prime, no oil would circulate, and no pressure would register on the gauge. Just a thought although I may be just talking out of my ar$e. Best of luck anyway.
