quick release steering wheel

has anyone fitted a quick release steering wheel to a 1999 chimaera - if so what parts etc did you need.

Have a look on the web. I have a quick release wheel on my motorhome for no other reason than security.

When we are parked up in the middle of nowhere in Europe, (or England, especially), I remove it in two seconds and lock it in a locker.
